If there is one cookie that brings pure chocolate bliss without turning on the oven, it’s this one. These Gluten Free Oat Chocolate Cookies are a must during the holidays – chewy, fudgy, warmly spiced with cinnamon, and perfectly sweetened with monkfruit. Ready in under 30 minutes and made with clean, simple ingredients, they’re a true Petit Gourmet favorite.
This recipe is inspired by Olivia Adriance, whose gluten-free treats are always irresistible. I adapted the flavors to create a Petit Gourmet version: wholesome, festive, and full of comforting chocolate flavor.

And this year, I’m thrilled to share it as part of the #SweetestSeasonCookies Exchange, a virtual holiday cookie swap where food bloggers come together to bake, share, and support an amazing cause.
This recipe is part of The Sweetest Season, an annual virtual cookie swap co-hosted by Erin of The Speckled Palate and Susannah of Feast + West. Every year, food bloggers get together to share new holiday cookie recipes to make and give.

This year we are raising money for Cookies 4 Kids' Cancer, which is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to funding research for new, innovative and less-toxic treatments for childhood cancer.
Since 2008, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer has granted nearly $18 million to pediatric cancer research in the form of 100+ research grants to leading pediatric cancer centers across the country. From these grants have stemmed 35+ treatments available to kids battling cancer today.
Help us raise money for this important cause! Donate through our fundraising page.
Another exciting thing is that Cookies for Kids’ Cancer is in a matching window with their friends at OXO, meaning OXO will be matching every dollar raised through the end of 2025, up to $100,000. Whatever money we raise will automatically double on our fundraising page!

Why These Ingredients Make Magic Happen

Coconut oil
Gives your cookies that silky, melt in your mouth texture while adding healthy fats your body actually loves. It also helps everything hold together without using butter.
Monkfruit sweetener
All the sweetness without the sugar crash. Zero calories, zero glycemic spike, zero guilt. Just pure sweet joy.
Almond milk
Light, creamy and dairy free. It blends everything beautifully without weighing your cookies down.
Raw cacao powder
This is chocolate in its superhero form. Rich, deep flavor plus antioxidants. It makes everything taste chocolatey and still wholesome.
Cinnamon
A warm little hug of flavor in every bite. It also naturally boosts sweetness, so your cookies taste even richer.
Salt
Just a pinch to wake up all the chocolate and peanut butter flavors. A tiny bit goes a long way.
Gluten-free rolled oats
Chewy, hearty, naturally gluten-free and full of fiber. They give your cookies body, texture and that nostalgic no-bake vibe.

Creamy peanut butter
Protein, healthy fats and the dreamiest fudgy texture. It makes the cookies softer, creamier and completely irresistible.
Vanilla extract
The flavor booster that ties the whole recipe together. One splash and suddenly everything tastes more delicious.
Dairy-free chocolate chips
Because more chocolate is always the right choice. They melt into little pockets of joy inside every cookie.
Coconut oil (for the drizzle)
Helps the chocolate melt smoothly and glossy, so your drizzle looks pro and sets perfectly once cooled.
Tips & Variations
- Swap peanut butter for almond, cashew, or sunflower butter.
- Add ¼ cup chopped nuts for crunch.
- Mix in chia seeds for extra fiber.
- Want them extra chocolatey? Add 2 more tablespoons of cacao.
