So the first follow-up appointment after the surgery went well this morning, he can slowly begin to eat normally again! Yay, so to welcome some mild solids into his diet I put together a very mild, almost no spice crock pot turkey chili, easily put together last night so it was ready for today’s lunch after returning from the hospital.

This is what the crock pot looked like when I added my ingredients, set it in low temperature until this morning when we arrived at 11:30 AM so almost 12 hours, but I am sure 8 hours will do the trick.
